Hindustani Classical Vocal Concert

DBDS family was fortunate to witness a Hindustani classical vocal concert conducted by renowned artist Pt. Dr. Nagaraj Rao Havaldar. He was accompanied by Omkar Havaldar on vocals, Kedarnath Havaldar on tabla, Sameer Havaldar on harmonium and Sharda Devi on Tanpura. Students had an interesting interactive session with Dr. Havaldar and his sons Omkar and Kedarnath, learning about the origin of ragas and the significance of melody and rhythm.
