December 3 is observed as International Day of Persons with Disabilities to create awareness & promote the rights & well-being of people with disabilities. The theme this year is - “Leadership & participation of persons with disabilities towards an inclusive & sustainable post-COVID-19 world.”
The Special Education Department of DBDS also conducted a small awareness program in the school campus today. Short movies regarding the awareness theme was shown in the classrooms and the Special students alongwith their classroom buddies planted saplings in the organic garden.
