Resource Cell (Labs)
The Flat- granite topped tables used as student workstations allow multiple arrangements and combinations for laboratory work and small-group activities. The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnet, beam balance, spring balance, glass prism to the advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few. Furthermore, the spacious physics lab is designed in a way to accommodate students comfortably.
The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to experiment and nurture the budding scientist within them. The Lab is provided with the state- of- the art devices like- Electronic weighing machine, Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points.
The marble worktops are heat resistant and storage cabinets are easily accessible. The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petridishes, beakers and flasks to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms minutely. The lab also has charts, models and specimens meant for demonstrations.
Home Science lab is well equipped, well-lit and well ventilated. The lab has all necessary kitchen commodities such as refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Machine etc. The spacious lab can easily accommodate 30 students at a time.
The main objective of this lab is to provide practice in an entertaining and interactive way to acquire the 4 main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In the lab, the students listen to the lessons pre-recorded by experts. Topics such as accent, rhythm, intonation, consonants and vowels are dealt with separately and extensively.
The school has 2 spacious computer labs for both Junior and Senior wing. The entire campus is networked and internet facilities are provided to the students with proper IT security. With advanced instructions in terms of hardware and software, our lab caters to the requirement of our students and teachers. These excellent resources aim at enhancing the quality of teaching and learning within the school.
